Registration Issues
I get an error saying there is not a match in your database to my name.
The name and zip/postal code in our database matches the name you used on your vacation reservation. If you've changed zip codes, you may want to try your old one to see if it is listed. Also, if you last traveled with us before 2004, we may need to update your record.

I've moved since my last Atlantis vacation.
Use the online help form to inform us of your new address by clicking here.




I have a foreign postal code.
Some foreign postal codes may be incorrectly formatted in our database. Use the online help form to notify us of the correct postal code by clicking here.





Log In Issues
I did not receive my confirmation email.
Because the confirmation email is machine generated, it is sometimes tagged as Spam or rejected by certain service providers (AOL being the most common). Your confirmation email is sent immediately upon registration, so it should arrive in your email inbox in a few moments.

Check your Spam folder or filter to see if it was caught there. If not, fill out the online help request by clicking here, and select Option 2. We will complete the registration process for you and notify you by return email.




I cannot click the link in my confirmation email.
Certain versions of AOL and some email applications (GMail, Hotmail) do not allow clickable links in emails. If this is the case, you can copy the link from the email into the address bar of your browser to complete the registration.

We do this to confirm the validity of your email address and to allow only Atlantis Alumni access to the site.




I get a message saying my "username or email is already in use."
This usually occurs if you did not complete the registration by following the link in the response email you received. When you click on that link, it should lauch your browser and give a "Thank you for completing the regisration" message. If you don't see that, you may need to cut and paste the link into your browser manually. Rememer to hit enter after pasting and you should see the message!




I try to log in but get an error message.
The most common error message is "Invalid Login, please try again!" This most commonly means that you have either mistyped your login name or password (remember, passwords are case-sensitive, i.e. toy555 is not the same as Toy555), or that your registration was not completed properly.

If you are sure your login and password match your confirmation email, then fill out the online help request by clicking here, and select Option 3.




I try to log in, but nothing happens.
Our site uses "cookies" to indicate your login status. They are a very common function of web sites to manage information while you are visiting a particular site. The cookies that our site sets are deleted when you log out, or they expire within 24 hours if you just quit your browser or leave the site. No personal information is stored in them, just that you have logged into the site correctly.

You will not be able to access the site at all if you have cookies disabled or turned off in your browser preferences. You will be returned to the login screen with no error message. Depending upon your browser, you can either enable cookies for all sites, or just for particular ones. If you are worried about cookies, you can enable them for the Atlantis Alumni site only by allowing the domain "www.atlantisevents.net".




I have forgotten my Login name or Password.
Go to the login page and find the link for "Lost your password?" Enter the email address you used to register for the alumni area and it will be sent to you automatically.





Usage Policy
What are the terms of use for the Atlantis Alumni area?
The Atlantis Alumni area is for the use of Atlantis Alumni only and for the purpose of exchanging information and experiences on past and future Atlantis vacations.

No commercial advertising or solicitation is allowed. Any such messages will be deleted and the poster warned. Repeated violations will result in removal from the Atlantis Alumni area.



How is my information used?
The only information available to other users of the Atlantis Alumni area is your username and any information you provide in your profile. Email addresses are kept private. We provide a Private Message system in the forum area to send private messages to other Alumni witout revealing either the sender's or recipients email address.

Atlantis Events uses your email address to update our master email mailing list only. We do not share your information with anybody. For more information, visit Privacy Policy.



I have received a reply or private message that I feel is inappropriate, what do I do?
You may contact us at alumni@atlantisevents.com and describe the issue. We will assess the situation and respond.
