Our January cruise has become a legend in itself, and In 2008, the largest, newest, and most innovative cruise ship ever built is ours for the largest gay cruise in history. Again. Royal Caribbean's awesome Liberty of the Seas advances the art of cruising to an entirely new level, with more innovations than you ever dreamed of. More fun than you've ever imagined awaits our 3700 guests as we fill this floating paradise with Atlantis' legendary entertainment, spectacular parties, and outrageous activities. Be the first to experience the future of cruising on a brand new Caribbean itinerary.
Is Bigger Better?
Yes. And then some. Where else but on the largest ship in the world could you surf FlowRider? Climb a multi-course rock wall or spar in the boxing ring. Have a splash at the outdoor water park or a skate around the indoor ice rink. Catch a game in the sports pool or the full-size volleyball court. Discover the many shops & cafes along the Royal Promenade. Thrill to spectacular productions in the four-story theater, or our own sensational ice show. Dance outdoors on the massive decks. Workout in the sensational fitness center and treat yourself in the largest spa at sea.
Or simply relax in the spectacular hot tubs hanging off the edge of the ship, 112 feet above the ocean.
More Entertainment Everywhere
Onboard Liberty you'll find more venues than ever, including a spectacular 4-story theater. We'll present the most talented group of gay and lesbian performers in the world. Our legendary shows feature a unique blend of exciting talent - hilarious comedians, performance artists, a gay hypnotist, and some of the freshest new stars of tomorrow. And look out for a sensational surprise guest star. Past cruises have featured Joan Rivers, Rosie O’Donnell, Mario Cantone, Margaret Cho, Blondie, Patti Lupone, Chaka Khan, Bruce Vilanch, and Roseanne. Who knows who might show up this year?
Studio B also doubles as a sensational concert space, featuring an eye-popping ice show tailored just for Atlantis. And it wouldn’t be a cruise without Royal Caribbean’s spectacular production shows, filled with talented performers, glamour, glitz, and amazing special effects.
But we don’t stop there. You’ll find late night comedy and specialty acts in the Ixtapa Lounge. Live music throughout the ship, non-stop action in the Casino Royale. And believe it or not, there’s even a parade or two.
Now That's a Party
Well, actually it’s several parties. We’ll turn Liberty’s outdoor decks turn into the largest outdoor celebration at sea, with spectacular lighting, lasers to light up the sky, and concert quality sound. Studio B transforms into a remarkable themed party space. And the high-tech nightclub hosts a wide range of musical styles, including a sensational “after-hours” scene. All of this featuring five (yes, five) of the leading gay DJs working today.
The Perfect Meal. Your Way
From majestic three-story main restaurant to room service on your private balcony, Liberty offers a myriad of dining options. Six incredible venues offer places to dine, relax, and socialize with friends old and new. Atlantis always creates a spectacularly friendly experience in the main restaurant with open seating and no assigned dining times. And there's never a dress code or formal nights.
No words here can describe the incomparable experience of sailing on the largest ship in the world. Our Freedom cruise for 2007 sold out in record time. Don’t delay or you’ll have to wait for Independence.
