Atlantis returns to the Baltic in 2008 aboard the #1 rated ship in the world for our repeat of our most popular cruise ever. Sail with us from Copenhagen to Stockholm visiting Berlin, Tallinn, and Helsinki in total comfort aboard Celebrity's stellar Constellation. There's even a full two-day overnight stay in St. Petersburg, Russia. All-new and custom designed for Atlantis to create an exciting and innovative adventure!

Chart a new course with Atlantis next summer as we sail to northern Europe’s most exciting cities onboard the spectacular Celebrity Constellation. Whether you’ve been on several cruises or are sailing for your first time, there are few more exciting places in the world to explore by ship than the Baltic. Atlantis’ custom itinerary lets you see the best of it all in just seven days, from the superior comfort of the ship rated #1 Large Ship by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler in 2007.

Incredibly Welcoming Places

We start in charming gay-friendly Copenhagen, ready to welcome us with open arms to the waterways, parks, and castles that have made this city famous. A full day of adventure awaits you in Berlin, with a private train available from the port city of Warnermunde. After a relaxing day at sea, you’ll arrive in Tallinn, Estonia, a near perfect Medieval town with a fast-growing modern lifestyle. Two full days (with an overnight) in St Petersburg highlight this cruise, allowing you ample time to explore the city's vast cultural collection of museums, palaces, architecture, parks, and theater. Helsinki offers Finnish hospitality and a chance to explore this rugged city. Finally, we arrive in cosmopolitan Stockholm, the cultural and business hub of Sweden, perfect for enjoying for a few days afterwards.

As you probably know, most of the cities we’re visiting have strong and visible gay populations. These are not just gay-friendly ports, they’re some of the most gay-progressive and gay-welcoming places in the world.

Dining as Beautiful as the Scenery

The dramatic two-story San Marco restaurant offers soaring views of the ocean and Celebrity’s award-winning fresh cuisine. Attentive yet unobtrusive service from European-trained staff makes dining an event to savor. As on all Atlantis cruises, we feature open seating and a casual atmosphere with no dress code. There’s never an assigned table or dining time, allowing you to dine at your leisure with friends old and new.

For the ultimate special occasion, make a date in The Ocean Liners Restaurant, with an open kitchen, dine-in wine cellar, and elaborate tableside presentations. Featuring 3-star chef Michel Roux’s (Waterside Inn, London) extraordinary multi-course menus for one of the finest meals ever presented at sea.

If you’re looking for something casual, the Seaside Grill features offers buffet meals and late-night snacks, virtually 24 hours a day. Sushi, pasta, and pizza are available every day, and there’s even a healthy Spa Café. Start your day with an espresso with fresh-baked croissants at the Cova Café Milano. Or stay in and relax with complimentary 24-hour room service.

Nights in the Land of Midnight Sun

You’ll experience more entertainment, in more places, than ever before on Constellation. The sensational three-story theater is perfect for our wide range of shows including Atlantis Gay Comedy Showcase, singers direct from Broadway, unique performance shows, Celebrity’s elaborate productions, and perhaps a surprise superstar guest. Or two.

Around the ship, you’ll find seven bars and lounges featuring live music and comedy shows. If you’re feeling lucky, have a go in the world-class casino. We’ll feature first-run movies and the best of the recent gay cinema in the onboard movie theater. And the sophisticated intimacy of Michael’s Club creates the perfect setting for the ultimate Atlantis piano bar.

At night, we’ll create the Baltic’s most impressive dance club with state-of-the-art lighting, lasers, and sound. Starring three of the world’s top DJs with exciting theme nights throughout the week. And yes, we will host our famous outdoor t-dances on deck.

Comfort, Style, and the Unexpected Smile

When you do finally return to your stateroom, you’ll enjoy a quiet, elegant retreat. Most offer a private verandah and all are large and well appointed, featuring amenities such as 24-hour room service, the interactive Celebrity Network, 20” televisions, telephone with voicemail, refrigerator, and much more. And should you need anything, Celebrity’s pampering staff is just a phone call away.

Important Note on Russian Visa Requirements
Guests participating in shore excursions organized through Celebrity Cruises' do not need an individual Russian Tourist Visa to proceed ashore when on the cruise line's organized tour(s). These participants are covered by the "blanket Visa" obtained by our local tour operator. Atlantis and Celebrity will offer several additional and customized tours to accommodate our guests, including evening excursions.

If you plan on visiting St. Petersburg outside of the tours offered, you will need to procure a Russian Visa from a qualified visa service. Please contact a visa service of your choice or the local consulate for required documentation, fees and forms.

We highly recommend the Celebrity tours as they will overall be less expensive and offer virtually every option that most of our guests require. Independent escorted tours are available as well, which would include the “blanket Visa”. Details will be released in mid-May.

Before we set sail, the capital of Denmark will definitely make you smile. Despite being a great European capital, Copenhagen has managed to maintain the charm and character of its small fishing village roots. As the epicenter for simple, clean Scandinavian design, Copenhagen is a great place to shop for furniture and home d?cor. Take a stroll down the bustling Stroget; visit Kronberg Castle, the setting of Shakespeare's Hamlet; or explore Tivoli, the inspiration for Walt Disney's theme parks.

Located at the mouth of the Warnow River, Warnem?nde is a charming fishing town whose wide white-sand beaches, restaurants and pubs are popular with locals and visitors. It's a great jumping-off point for Berlin, where you can try to trace the remains of the Berlin Wall and explore the newly-hip cafes and restaurants on the former Communist side. Known for its underground music and dance scene, Berlin is also home to the historic Brandenburg Gate and the controversial new Holocaust Memorial.

Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is one of the oldest cities on the Baltic Sea. Much of it has remained unchanged since its founding 600 years ago, enabling visitors to enjoy architectural marvels, like the soaring towers of Toompea Castle and the exquisite Russian Orthodox Cathedral. A romantic walk awaits as you explore the medieval cobblestone alleyways, cracking walls and old buildings from the Middle Ages. Today, Tallinn is also filled with parks, museums, sports centers, hotels and caf?s.

St. Petersburg was reportedly built to resemble western cities such as London, Paris and Vienna. Although, once you see it, you'll agree there's nothing quite like this regal city. St. Petersburg embodies the soul of Imperial Russia, with elegant fa?ades, glorious cathedrals and grand residences built by Peter the Great. Under Catherine the Great, the city gained new splendor with elaborate palaces, lovely parks and magnificent squares designed by French and Italian architects.

Occupying a peninsula and several islands, Helsinki is the sparkling capital of Finland, an elegant city of spectacular architecture, beautiful gardens, and harborside parks. The Finns have long been admired for graceful design. Helsinki's architecture spans many styles and centuries, from medieval to neoclassical, as well as the superb ultra-modern creations by Aalto, Saarinen, and other Finnish masters.

Fifty bridges connect this Swedish capital's fourteen islands to its mainland. Undoubtedly, this was to ensure that Swedes could enjoy every inch of this magnificent city's parks, museums, and palaces - the most famous being the 600-room Royal Palace. Make your way through the Gamla Stan, or Old Town, packed with historic buildings, shops and caf?s. Then try Aquavit, a potato based liquor, served ice-cold and drunk as a shot. Locals love it, but be warned: it's a lot stronger than you think!
