The Greatest Parade on Earth. And then Some.

During our three full nights in Rio, you’ll experience the finale of Carnival, truly the most spectacular parade in the world. From the samba rhythms, exciting parties, and endless parades to Rio’s legendary beaches, there’s no better time to see this magnificent city. And all of it comes together in two wild nights of celebration in the world-famous Sambadrome. We’ll coordinate every aspect of this incredible adventure, including tickets to the hottest parties, shows, and events.

From Rio, we'll sail to the famous beach town of Buzios, with a full overnight to relax and play. You’ll marvel at the unspoiled splendor of historic Parati and the otherworldly mountains surrounding the landscape. Explore cosmopolitan Sao Paulo from Santos, with plenty of time to see this mammoth city on your terms. We spend a full day and night on the magical island of Florianopolis, renowned for it’s natural beauty, unspoiled beaches, and carefree nightlife.

Spend a day on the beaches and a night on the town in the jet-set destination of Punta del Este. Discover hidden urban treasures in Montevideo. And finally, let the magic of sophisticated (and very gay-friendly) Buenos Aires overwhelm your senses.

Throughout your journey, we've designed our stay to maximize your enjoyment, interact with the locals, and experience these fascinating destinations at their absolute best

Sailing in Total Comfort
There’s no better ship for exploring than Celebrity Infinity, consistently ranked one of the top 3 ships in the world by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Our guests agree, and love her elegant design with glass and teak accents, master artworks, and modern amenities.

Celebrity’s welcoming, professional staff is trained to anticipate your every desire. Whether it’s the champagne welcome, a poolside massage, or an afternoon sorbet parade, you’ll discover the details that make the Celebrity stand out from the rest. With one staff member for every two guests, we know your every last need will be tended to – and always anticipated.

Exciting Entertainment Everywhere
You’ll experience more entertainment on Infinity, in more places than ever. The sensational two-story theater is perfect for our wide range of shows including our Gay Comedy Showcase, singers direct from Broadway, unique performance shows, Celebrity’s elaborate productions, and perhaps a surprise superstar guest. Or two. Of course, we’ll add some local flavor to the mix, with samba, tango and other local talent!

Our seven bars and lounges featuring live music and comedy shows. If you’re feeling lucky, have a go in the world-class casino. We’ll feature first-run movies and the best of the recent gay cinema in the onboard movie theater. And the sophisticated intimacy of Michael’s Club creates the perfect setting for the ultimate Atlantis piano bar.

As night falls, Infinity’s top decks will be transformed into South America’s most sophisticated nightclub, with state-of-the-art lighting, lasers, and sound. Starring three of the world’s top DJs with exciting theme nights and T-dance. All designed to suit a wide variety of styles and musical tastes.

Atlantis third year in South America is certain to be our best ever, designed to show you the most of this amazing continent during the absolutely perfect time to be there. Even better, it’s an amazing value, costing less than visiting Carnival. Make a date in 2008 for the most exciting adventure Atlantis has ever offered!

Cariocas, Rio's locals, add a culture of carefree fun to the city's natural gifts of perfect weather and stunning geography. Play at the world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Visit the many outdoor bars - gay and straight - and enjoy a caipirinha with friends. Ascend the heights of Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado's Christ the Redeemer statue, Rio's best-known landmarks. One visit and you'll understand why Rio is known as the "Cidade Maravillosa" - the Marvelous City.

Buzios was catapulted from quiet fishing village to sophisticated international getaway soon after Brigitte Bardot became a regular visitor in the 1960s. Today Buzios is an upscale beach resort with laid-back charm. It consists of several small towns spread across a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic, lined with 17 pristine beaches. You'll enjoy diving, windsurfing or kitesurfing, sophisticated boutiques, and an attractive selection of bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

A gem of history and natural beauty, this small, colonial-era village is a virtual "living museum" set within a lush, tropical paradise. Explore the classical, 18th century Portuguese architecture in the town's center and relax on the stunning, white sand beaches set against the backdrop of steep, jungled mountains. And if you prefer to venture a little further afield, the pristine beaches and dense rainforests of Ilha Grande are just a boat ride away.

Santos is the gateway to Brazil's most cosmopolitan and modern city, São Paulo. Experience the kinetic energy of the largest city in South America as you visit Brazil's best museums, shop in its most exclusive boutiques and dine in its finest restaurants. Rub shoulders with the city's movers and shakers as you stroll down Avenida Paulista, São Paulo's main commercial and cultural artery, or just relax in one of the many cafes tucked away on the quiet side streets.

Popular among gay and straight Brazilians alike, Florianopolis is known for its gorgeous white sand beaches, tidy streets and neighborhoods, and laid-back surfer charm. Straddling the island of Santa Catarina, it's surrounded by dozens of beaches that range from calm and idyllic to rugged and wild. Join Brazil's tanned and beautiful, who flock to Praia Mole - Florianopolis' best known and gayest beach - for killer waves or to soak up the unbeatable Southern Brazilian lifestyle.

Known as "the Pearl of the Atlantic," Punta del Este is Uruguay's most famous beach resort. You can choose between the "tame" beaches on the calm Rio de la Plata, or the surfers' beaches facing the rougher waters that begin with the Playa Brava, or Wild Beach, on the South Atlantic side. If you're feeling adventurous, travel further east to the trendy beach destinations of La Barra and Jose Ignacio. After sundown, this glamorous South American hotspot sizzles with a pulsing nightlife.

Word is out that the capital of tiny Uruguay is a hip, fun and friendly destination for visitors from all over the world. Buenos Aires smaller and more intimate neighbor across the Rio de la Plata invites you to enjoy the city's parks, monuments and art deco buildings, or just spend the afternoon people-watching in one of the many chic cafes that dot the city.

Argentina's capital and largest city is South America's newest gay mecca. The city that gave birth to the tango weds Latin sexiness with European sophistication. Visit the presidential palace known as the Casa Rosada (the "Pink House"), and sing from the balcony where Evita once stood. Stop for coffee in the city's tony Recoleta neighborhood, known for its restaurants and boutiques. Take advantage of great deals on some local Argentine specialties, from fine leather to fine wine.

Impossibly gorgeous white sand beaches and azure waters line the coast of Brazil’s Santa Catarina state. Porto Belo is a great starting point for exploring the best of them, whether you opt to stay and enjoy the beaches and diving in the quaint town of Porto Belo itself, or venture into the nearby resort town of Camboriu, where you can board a cable car for a short ride up to the edge of the stunning Atlantic rainforest. Or, to see a unique and unexpected thread in the Brazilian cultural tapestry, visit the historic town of Blumenau, famous for its strong German heritage and site of the country’s biggest annual Oktoberfest celebration.
